The Opportunity
We’re looking for a capable, hands-on Marketing & E-commerce Coordinator to help drive the next stage of our marketing and online growth. You’ll be the key internal person helping to keep Gilly’s marketing moving day to day.
Working closely with the Director, you’ll help plan and execute marketing activity across our e-commerce website, sales calendar, promotions, Meta ads, product marketing, content, email, events, and brand touchpoints.
You’ll also work with our existing marketing support and external content/social media agency to make sure our marketing is on brand and delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage/optimise e-commerce website, product pages, bundles, promos, basic SEO, and customer experience.
- Plan/coordinate the sales and marketing calendar.
- Manage Meta ads account, campaign setup, monitoring, creative.
- Work with our social media/content agency to brief and review items.
- Coordinate marketing material, catalogues, brochures, flyers, company profiles, info sheets etc.
- Assist label design, product launches, gift packs, bundles & product activation.
- Create basic in-house content such as behind-the-scenes, updates & more.
- Support team events, customer activities, trade shows etc.
- Review marketing performance and identify new trends, opportunities, ideas.
About You
You’re organised, proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable taking ownership.
You enjoy working across multiple areas of marketing and can keep projects, people, deadlines, and details moving without needing constant direction.
You’ll ideally have:
- Around 5+ years’ experience in marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, brand, or campaign coordination.
- Experience with e-commerce sites & Shopify.
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager or paid social campaigns.
- A good understanding of digital marketing, email, content, SEO, website optimisation, and customer experience.
- Strong writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good project management skills and the ability to coordinate agencies, designers, suppliers, assets, and deadlines.
- Strong brand judgment with ability to keep messaging/content consistent.
- A commercial mindset and an interest in improving sales, conversion, customer engagement, and marketing performance.
- A practical, positive, solutions-focused approach.
Experience in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, lifestyle brands, or product-based businesses is highly regarded.
