Greencross Vets Robina Village is the perfect practice if you're a senior vet nurse ready to take their next career step into a leadership role! We are looking for a Full Time Practice Manager with leadership capabilities and attention to detail, you will be a steady, dependable presence who’s always thinking one step ahead, a team player who is great with people and animals alike. This is an 11-month secondment role with the possibility of extension, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain leadership experience and make a real impact. You will actively participate in nursing duties at times so excellent animal handling skills and an extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures is required. Familiarity with practice manager duties including rostering and human resources a bonus! We are a close-knit group, passionate about team consulting and we all strive to ensure every team member feels supported and respected and given the best opportunities possible to reach their goals. Our clinic is located next to some great Cafes (for the best coffee, hot choccies and lunches!) and is only 15 mins drive away from the stunning Gold Coast Beaches, and a short 5 mins drive from Robina Town Center. Our clinic includes 2 spacious consult rooms, surgical theatre, Xray, Ultrasound and separate cat and dog wards. Due to our size, this clinic would suit a first time or experienced manager alike! Your new role will see you

• Managing the day-to-day operations of our clinic including stock management, people management and rostering, and maintaining client records
• Leading and developing our team to provide an excellent client experience, exceptional patient care and to build a positive team culture
• Ensuring that monthly KPI’s are met
• Driving our business forward through creating and implementing local marketing initiatives
• Nursing duties as required; including training and mentoring nurses

About Your Skills & Experience

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent experience)
• Genuinely care about clients, patients and our team
• Experience in Practice Management or as a Senior Vet Nurse with team management, strong leadership and team building skills
• Excellent animal handling skills
• An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good business insight and organisational skills
