Role Description

This on-site role for a Safety Officer based in Melbourne, VIC. The Safety Officer will manage workplace health and safety processes, conduct safety inspections, ensure compliance with regulations, and investigate incidents. Responsibilities include implementing safety policies, delivering safety training sessions, and promoting a culture of safety. They will also work closely with teams to identify and mitigate risks in day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
• Experience in Accident Investigation and incident reporting
• Expertise in providing Safety Training and fostering a safety-conscious work environment
• Knowledge of Security protocols and risk management
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Australian workplace safety regulations and compliance
• Relevant certification in workplace safety and health, or equivalent experience
