Accountant

The company and role:

This company is looking for an Accountant to join their team initially on a fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave. Their is potential for this role t be extended after this period but the initial contract will be for 6 months.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Processing Payroll for 80 salaried staff on a monthly basis, and a handful of casuals on a fortnightly basis.
• Oversee and check the finance assistance work to ensure all invoices are entered correctly and then you will process all the bank payments.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Assist with month end duties.
• Assist with the P&L, Cashflow, Balance sheet reconciliations and additional financial reporting by the CFO.
• Additional Adhoc duties

What you will need to succeed:

• Immediately available
• Have experience processing payroll
• Have Xero experience
• Strong attention to detail
• If you have financial reporting and month end experience this is advantageous to your application but is not essential.
• CA or CPA qualification is not essential.
