An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join a well‑established services company on the Gold Coast. This role is well suited to a confident finance professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, collaborative team environment and is looking to further develop their career. Your new role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager/Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of revenue across multiple venues.

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Importing and accurately allocating sales data into Xero accounting software
• Recording and coding all revenue streams with a high degree of accuracy
• Reconciling sales and revenue data to ensure completeness and integrity
• Performing daily and weekly bank reconciliations
• Investigating, problem-solving, and resolving discrepancies promptly
• Assisting in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports
• Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting requirements
• Collaborating with the accounts team to maintain consistency and accuracy in reporting
• Ad hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager/Accountant

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance role
• Experience using Xero or comparable accounting software
• Ability to work in a high-volume, multi-entity environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with online banking platforms
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• A resourceful, systematic approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
• A proactive attitude and strong team collaboration skills
