Your new company A leading financial services organisation in WA, based in Perth CBD Your new role We are on the lookout for a Senior Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Entra ID, Active Directory (AD), and Identity Management to join a major transformation program. Initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension Perth-based | Hybrid work options available Pay Rate: 1000 Daily plus Superannuation

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimising identity and directory services. You'll work in a complex environment to ensure secure, scalable, and automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, estimate, configure, and integrate IT system components
• Lead the deployment of secure, automated, and scalable technical solutions
• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for production systems
• Drive continuous improvement across systems and team processes
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and monitoring
• Optimise performance across Entra ID, AD, and related services
• Strengthen AD security through best practices in authentication, access control, and auditing

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive hands-on experience with on-prem Active Directory engineering
• Strong knowledge of Azure AD (AAD) and modern authentication protocols
• Proven experience with Entra ID
• Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and system optimisation
• Solid understanding of IAM principles and the Microsoft Identity ecosystem
• Experience managing AD in virtualised environments
• Familiarity with security best practices for identity and access management
