ServiceNow Developer
Location: Melbourne, (Hybrid)
Contract: 3 Months + Extension
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate $500 to $550 per day
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join a high-performing technology team delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow applications and integrations while working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and platform teams.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to major digital transformation initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across various modules.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience.
- Experience with core ITSM modules, including Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management.
- Experience with CMDB, Asset Management and configuration item relationships.
- Ability to configure and build workflows, service catalogue items, forms, business rules and automation.
- Experience with Flow Designer, scripting and integrations.
- Experience building ServiceNow dashboards, reports and operational performance metrics.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, resolve defects and support testing.
- Assist with user training, knowledge transfer and documentation where required.
- Comfortable working alongside an internal technical team with minimal supervision as well as customers and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- ITSM
- ITOM
- CMDB
- Service Portal
- Flow Designer
- Integration Hub
- Experience developing ServiceNow integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong scripting skills using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, and UI Actions.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience working within Government, Utilities, Financial Services, or large enterprise environments.
