The Geelong Clinic - EENPPT Nightshift position, 3 nights per week - Mon, Tues, Wed Caring, organised and passionate about excellent patient care- Is this you? The Geelong Clinic is seeking experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join their Mental Health department. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided. ResponsibilitiesAs an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Administer medications according to state law and organization policy
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
The Geelong Clinic is a 73 bed Psychiatric Hospital, offering a range of inpatient, day programs and outreach services for individuals experiencing mental health problems. Located on the outskirts of Geelong within close proximity to spectacular coastal attractions, the clinic has a number of accredited Psychiatrists supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team of nursing, allied health, administration and domestic services staff. - Current Registration with AHPRA
- Advanced Diploma in Mental Health (desired)
- Enrolled Nurse Qualification in Monitoring and Administering IV Medications
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
