Hobart Private Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join both our Perioperative ward, in the Anaesthetics and Recovery team to help shape what high quality and safe care looks like for our patients. Whilst operating out of our five theatres and Cath Lab, we are committed to providing ongoing learning and development opportunities for our Perioperative nurses. - Prepare patients for surgery, prepare anaesthesia equipment, assist in anaesthesia administration
- Provide patient care and recovery and monitor vital signs post-op
- Provide evidence-based care, ensuring patient and staff safety
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Support your team members to deliver family centred care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their care
About You
- Hospital experience in Anaesthetics / Recovery
- Current Registration with AHPRA & Working with Vulnerable People check
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
