Where You'll Be Working Based at John Hunter Hospital, you’ll join a fast-paced yet highly supportive Neurology department servicing patients across the Hunter New England region. Within The Neuro-Immunology Team, You’ll Work Closely With
- 3 Consultants
- 2 Nurses
- A dedicated Research Team

About The Role This is a dynamic and rewarding administration role where no two days are the same. You’ll be at the heart of the team, ensuring everything runs smoothly while supporting both clinicians and patients. Your Day-to-day Will Include
- Providing high-level admin support to consultants and nursing staff
- Scheduling and coordinating clinics
- Booking travel and managing calendars
- Taking meeting minutes and assisting with documentation
- Organising small events and team functions
- Acting as a key point of contact for patients, GPs, and specialists
You’ll play an integral role in both the Neuro-Immunology team and the wider Neurology department - helping deliver a seamless experience for patients who rely on attentive and compassionate care. About You You’re organised, proactive, and genuinely care about making a difference. What You'll Bring
- Exceptional attention to detail (non-negotiable)
- Fast and accurate touch typing skills (essential)
- A strong work ethic with a “go above and beyond” attitude
- Confidence communicating with patients and stakeholders
- Experience working with the public (highly regarded)
