The opportunity

HWLE Lawyers has a rare opportunity for a Relationship Manager to join our Client Relationship Program team. Known internally as a Client Relationship Specialist, this role plays an integral part in the growth and relationship management of our banking and financial institution clients. You're not a typical candidate

You have a sharp eye for detail and great analytical and written skills, with the ability to coach and advise stakeholders. You will have studied a discipline related to law, commerce, business or marketing. You think strategically, will make valuable contributions and will bring great ideas to the table to help deliver an optimal client experience, increased client satisfaction and further growth.


It's not your typical offer

You will play a vital role as the primary business development point of contact for a portfolio of key clients. In this role you will support and broaden our relationship with our Banking and financial institutional clients by using your skills to:

  • develop and maintain a deep understanding of the client's business operations, objectives, opportunities and challenges;
  • develop and deliver tailored relationship action plans for each of the client's business areas;
  • identify client needs that translate into client pursuit opportunities and connect with relevant stakeholders;
  • drive initiatives and ensure delivery of commitments made by team members in the agreed client relationship action plans;
  • advise and coach partners on client relationship management activities;
  • track progress on key metrics for growth, scale and other strategic deliverables;
  • provide insights and guidance on client events in support of the wider marketing team efforts;
  • work with the client experience lead to attend debriefs. identifying opportunities for improvement and gain client insights;
  • managing the Client Care Program for the firm with your allocated clients;
  • identify ways to add greater value via partnering activities and the delivery of value added services; and
  • evaluate, pursue and secure opportunities as they arise.
