About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Disability Services Officer with leadership experience to join our Wollongong team. This position will provide direct support services while also contributing to the supervision and guidance of other staff. The role requires flexibility to travel across NSW and interstate to support our service delivery footprint. Key Responsibilities Deliver disability support services to clients in line with NDIS goals and care plans. Supervise and mentor staff and support workers to ensure high-quality service delivery. Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised support strategies. Policy Development Provide guidance and leadership in managing complex client needs. Maintain accurate service records, case notes, and compliance documentation. Collaborate with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams. Represent the organisation professionally across regional and interstate service areas. Mandatory Requirements A degree in healthcare (or higher) or an equivalent experience or a related health discipline. Minimum 2 years’ experience working in disability or community services. Demonstrated experience in supervising or leading health staff or teams, both in person and remotely. Strong understanding of NDIS service delivery standards and legislation. Ability and willingness to travel across NSW and interstate as required. Current First Aid/CPR, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
