Visit The Welcome Experience | NSW Government What You'll Be Doing The Oral Health Therapist Level 3 provides dental therapy and dental hygiene care to patients within the limits of their formally attained scope of practice. They provide supervision and support to level 1 and 2 oral health therapists with a clinical, education and management focus. The Oral Health Therapist provides clinical services of a complex nature requiring advanced practical skills. Selection Criteria Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Oral Health Therapist.Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality clinical and diagnostic skills, whilst exercising independent professional judgement when problem solving. A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative/population health approach to patient care.Demonstrated experience in design and management of quality improvement projects.Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality and abide by the NSW Health Code of Conduct in line with prescribed NSW Health policies and procedures.Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively and sensitively with a wide range of individuals and multidisciplinary teams.Proficient in the use of computer systems, word processing software, clinical software and hardware including electronic patient records and digital imaging.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively , providing support and guidance to team members.Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
