Contract Administrator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Contract Administrator position in the ACT office, working directly with the Head of Construction and experienced Project Managers. This role offers exposure, responsibility, and the opportunity to fast-track your development, particularly if you’re keen to step into a Project Manager role in the future.

The Offer

• $90,000–$140K + super (depending on experience)
• Collaborative team with direct exposure to leadership
• Non-traditional CA role with broader involvement across the project lifecycle

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes and subcontractor agreements
• Prepare and administer contracts, variations, and progress claims
• Collaborate with finance and delivery teams to ensure tight budget control
• Use Premier construction software for cost tracking and documentation
• Conduct occasional site visits and maintain communication with all project stakeholders
• Support the delivery of high-end fit-out projects from kick-off to completion
• Work closely with national pre-construction and design teams for seamless handovers

About You

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Contract Administrator role
• Background in commercial construction – either in fit-out or new build
• Strong commercial understanding and confident with numbers
• Eager to progress into a Project Manager position
• Self-starter who thrives in a close-knit, fast-growing team environment
