One of our federal Government clients is seeking to engage Associate Change and Communication Manager across Australia locations (Hybrid arrangement) and Change Manager for Canberra location
Please note Candidate must have Australian Citizenship and experience working with federal govt departments

1. SFIA Organisational change management level 5 Develops the change management approach and a change management plan in collaboration with sponsors, users and project teams.
2. SFIA Portfolio, programme and project support level 5 .
3. SFIA Specialist advice level 5 Provides definitive and expert advice in their specialist area.
4. SFIA Stakeholder relationship management level 4
Desirable criteria
1. Knowledge of procurement, contracting processes or platforms in a government context is desirable.
2. Knowledge of the DTA’s Digital Service Standard.
3. Have experience working in a multi-disciplinary team using agile methodology.

**Working arrangements-**Hybrid
Experienced change and communications manager required to develop, implement and deliver robust change management strategies and plans to maximise employee adoption of new technology platforms. A holistic categorisation of change impact is required covering people, process, technology, and other dimensions of potential change impact.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Developing change management strategies: This involves creating and implementing comprehensive strategies that align with the organsation's goals and objectives.
- Creating and implementing change plans: Develop and implement detailed plans that outline the steps needed for a successful change. This includes processes that help the organisation adjust to change and ensure everyone follows these processes.
- Assist in assessing readiness for change: Identifying potential risks or resistance, while working to mitigate challenges.
- Facilitating change: Facilitate the delivery of change actions outlined in the change and project plans. This includes investing in detailed change scoping, risk, and impact analysis.
- Engaging with stakeholders: Working closely with the project manager, business SMEs, and organisational Portfolio Management Office to align change efforts with project goals and timelines. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their perspectives and ensure their needs are addressed. This includes conducting holistic impact analyses and identifying key stakeholders.
- Communication and training: Coordination of training and development activities. Effective communication of change, while ensuring that communication and learning materials are fit for purpose and accessible to all.
- Drive the change management process: ensuring smooth transitions and successful adoption of new platform and underpinning practices.
- Supporting change leadership: Support senior leadership in modelling the change and providing visible leadership. Building relationships with all levels of change leadership and supporting them to be role models of the change.
- Monitoring and assessing change impact: Continually measure the effectiveness of change actions and impacts and their contribution to benefit realisation.
- Provide post-change support and reinforcement: assisting with troubleshooting and offering guidance to ensure the change is fully embedded. Designing reinforcement activities for impacted stakeholders.
- Maintain change management documentation: tracking all activities and progress throughout the change lifecycle.
Essential criteria
1. Change Management Experience: The candidate should have a solid background in change management, and experience delivering change in a government setting. Including a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities. The candidate should have experience in developing and executing change management plans for large-scale changes and/or end-to-end product delivery. This includes developing and implementing change strategies, conducting risk and impact analysis, and facilitating change actions.
2. Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively, providing clear communication about the change, and supporting senior leadership in modeling the change.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure stakeholder involvement and support, throughout the change process.
4. Evaluating Success: The candidate should have experience in evaluating the success of change plans and ensuring that changes are embedded into the organisational culture.
Desirable criteria
1. Familiarity with Agile principles/methodologies and how change management fits within an Agile environment is highly desirable.
