What You’ll Do:

As the Assistant Accountant you will:

Make a difference:Provide support to the wider Accounting team by assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reporting, and comply with ITW policies, internal control and external compliance requirements.

Collaborate: Be the creation of journals and reviewing financial inputs for accuracy.

Performing monthly reconciliations, for example… bank reconciliations, prepayments, expenses accruals. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner

Continuous Improvement: Assist in the monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reports, and FRIDA reporting to US. Participate in scheduled and unscheduled reviews and audits, both internal and external. Assist in other ITW reporting

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business with an Accounting Major
• Working towards CA or CPA qualifications
• Experience working with an ERP system
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail
• Intermediate Excel Skills
• Demonstrated experience in meeting tight deadlines
• Hybrid Working arrangement, 2 days @ home, 3 days @ Office based in Dandenong
