Job description:

About your role

We’re seeking an experienced Production & Warehouse Operator to join our Narangba site. This hands‑on role suits someone who enjoys working in a small, close‑knit team and takes pride in safety, quality and getting the job done right. You’ll be involved in manufacturing and warehouse operations, operating forklifts, preparing orders and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. This is a stable, long‑term opportunity for a reliable operator with strong attention to detail and a commitment to working safely in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work safely in a production and warehouse environment, following safety, quality and environmental requirements
  • Manufacture, package and test chemical products in line with production plans and work instructions
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment
  • Load, unload, pick and dispatch goods in compliance with transport and dangerous goods requirements
  • Report hazards, incidents and quality issues, and participate in safety inspections
  • Maintain clean, orderly and safe work areas across the site
  • Complete routine equipment checks and minor maintenance tasks as required
  • Be willing and medically fit to wear respiratory protective equipment and participate in emergency response activities, including respirator and breathing apparatus training

Health & Safety Requirements

This role operates in a safety‑critical production environment. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Meet the inherent physical and medical requirements of the role
  • Successfully complete a pre‑employment medical assessment
  • Wear mandatory PPE, including respiratory protective equipment, which may require being clean shaven where necessary to ensure a proper fit

Who are we looking for?

  • Certificate of Secondary Education (High School or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing and/or warehousing environment
  • Current High Risk Forklift Licence, with experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or production setting (deep‑reach experience highly regarded)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a small team
  • Good attention to detail to ensure products are manufactured, handled and dispatched accurately and safely
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, continuous or batch chemical process plant is highly regarded
  • Possess hands on aptitude and be physically fit
