Full Job Description
Our client is a global SaaS vendor, a Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader and visionary, who have been voted in the top 100 employers by Forbes. As a result of growth they're looking for some outstanding BDM's to sell their software solutions into a portfolio of net new and existing customers in the SMB sector.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively 'hunting' for new business opportunities, targeting the SMB sector - up to 500 seats - NB: you will have SDR/BDR support in this role (1:2 ratio)
- Selling the company's market leading, multi-module SaaS platform
- Negotiate prospective client's complex internal approval processes
- Negotiate complex contracts with company owners, founders, operators and C level execs
- Work collaboratively across multiple business functions to ensure smooth delivery
- Effectively managing a geographical territory, pipeline creation, accurate budgeting and forecasting
- Manage and track your activities via Salesforce
Skills Required:
- New business hinters with a minimum of 12 months in a SaaS/software closing sales experience
- Current/previous SaaS SDR's who have closed in a different industry may be considered (min 3 years all up)
- Top performer with a proven track record of exceeding new business sales targets
- Outgoing, energetic, driven personality with strong presentation and communications skills
- Formal sales training with strong sales process and rigour
