Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to support the establishment and ongoing development of our Australia/New Zealand operations.
This role will be responsible for executing local HR operations and ensuring compliance with Australian employment regulations, while partnering closely with the regional HRBP and business leaders.
Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes, including coordination with agencies and candidates
- Manage offer preparation and onboarding processes
- Ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding experience for new hires
2. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure HR practices comply with Australian employment legislation and applicable Awards
- Prepare and manage employment contracts and HR documentation
- Support implementation of HR policies and procedures
3. Employee Relations
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers
- Handle employee relations matters, including performance management and disciplinary processes
- Support compliant offboarding and termination processes
4. HR Process & Framework Setup
- Assist in establishing local HR processes, workflows, and documentation
- Support development and implementation of onboarding, policies, and training frameworks
5. Stakeholder Management
- Act as a local HR partner to business teams
- Collaborate closely with regional HRBP to align with global HR strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 6–10 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in Australia
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and experience working with Awards
- Experience in employee relations and HR compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- Experience in setting up HR processes in a new market or startup environment
- Experience working in multinational companies
