About the role
We are seeking an experienced technical sales specialist to promote our broad product range, identifying and developing new business as well as maintaining strong relationships with our existing metropolitan and regional customer base from our branch office, located in Murrarie, QLD.
You will spend most of your time in the field, exploring our customers' requirements and problems, providing creative solutions and new insights into the latest technology on the market.
About You
You will be a highly motivated professional, ideally with a background in science related sales who:
- has excellent communication and negotiation skills
- is solutions focused and concerned with customer requirements
- is energetic and proactive - a self-starter
Preferred qualifications and skills include;
- Formal science qualification highly regarded
- 3+ experience years in a sales role
- competence in use of CRM software
- professional presentation
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include;
- Identify and develop new opportunities with metropolitan and regional customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions and other events
- Meet established KPIs of lead generation, customer interactions, sales pipeline etc.
