This is more than an Accounts Receivable /Credit Manager role. It’s an opportunity to lead a credit team, influence business decisions, and ensure strong credit governance across a diverse customer base. You’ll be the key connection point between finance, sales, operations, and customers, ensuring credit limits are maintained, risks are managed, and relationships stay strong.

What You’ll Lead
- Team leadership — Manage and develop a credit team, fostering capability, accountability, and engagement
- Credit strategy — Oversee end‑to‑end credit operations, ensuring credit limits, risk controls, and governance frameworks are maintained
- Stakeholder engagement — Build strong relationships with internal departments and external customers to support cashflow and minimise disputes
- Process improvement — Drive continuous improvement across AR, collections, and credit processes
- Complex negotiations — Handle escalations, disputes, and high‑risk accounts with confidence
- Reporting & insights — Deliver meaningful analysis on debtor performance, trends, and risk exposure
About You:
- Proven experience in end‑to‑end credit and AR management
- Strong people leadership capability with experience building and developing staff
- Confident managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Skilled in risk assessment, financial analysis, and credit decision‑making
- Comfortable challenging the status quo and leading operational change
- Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills
- Able to partner effectively with sales, operations, and senior management
Take ownership of the Victorian credit function, lead a capable team, and drive meaningful change across credit, AR, and customer engagement. This role is office‑based and will require travel to various Victorian sites to maintain strong relationships and visibility.
