Join the team Due to an internal promotion we’re now looking for a Commercial Finance Manager – Merchandise & Marketing to join our passionate and high-performing team. What You’ll Be Doing As a Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll operate at the heart of the business, combining strong commercial acumen with strategic thinking. Your responsibilities will include:

• Partner closely with Merchandise and Marketing teams to provide strategic financial insight and support decision-making.
• Deliver clear, actionable analysis on sales performance, margins, campaigns, and product initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for your portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and optimise commercial performance.
• Provide financial leadership on key projects, campaigns, and business initiatives.
• Translate complex financial data into meaningful insights for non-finance stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting, and tools.

This is a highly visible role where you’ll influence outcomes and help shape strategic direction. To be successful in this role you’ll have: We’re looking for someone who brings both technical capability and strong commercial acumen:

• Proven experience in a Commercial Finance Manager or Finance Business partnering role.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, or a fast-paced environment (highly regarded).
• Ideally experience partnering with merchandise.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into insights and action.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence influencing senior leaders.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to challenge thinking and drive better outcomes.
• Strong financial modelling, reporting, and forecasting capabilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Finance, Accounting, or similar).
• CPA / CA qualification.
