The Client Red Rooster Pimpama is a popular hospitality business located in Pimpama in QLD. Due to a manpower need, they require a full time Retail Manager to manage their store. The Role The retail manager will report to the owner and all store team members will report directly to them. The successful applicant will be someone who can and will maintain key relationships with store team members, head office staff, customers, and suppliers. This role is a full time position with an annual salary set between $77,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation. Responsibilities
- Managing the overall image and standards of the store, including implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Fully accountable for all store operations criteria including food, rosters, budgeting and cash handling.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure ingredients and products are constantly replenished.
- Monitor and record incoming and outgoing business expenses.
- Ensure the store meets financial targets and stays within operational budgets.
- Supervise and ensure that all team members comply with policies and standards.
- Ensure store and staff compliance with company and legislative employment, hygiene, health and safety requirements.
- Recruiting, training, and developing competent and exceptional team members, as required.
- Implement seasonal marketing strategies to promote and boost sales of goods.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organisation.
- Conduct staff meetings
- Building sales through the sales of box topping, wobble boards and car tops.
- Monitor the maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicles.
- Foster a fun and can-do attitude
Requirements
- A relevant AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in relevant field
- Minimum 4 years' experience multi outlet retail experience at a Managerial level
- Minimum of 4 years people management experience
- Minimum of 4 years' in managing inventory, stock levels, and reducing shrinkage
- Minimum of 4 years' in store merchandising, ensuring product placement aligns with store layout and customer preferences
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in using retail management systems, POS systems,
- Strong operational management background
- Ability to embrace change at a store level and instil a culture of excitement
- Demonstrated VM / volume stock management abilities
- Passion for driving customer service
- Good time management and attention to detail
