Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Operations Manager based in Canberra. The Area Operations Manager will oversee daily operations across multiple bakery locations, ensuring high standards of product quality, service, and cleanliness. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and optimizing operational efficiency. The role also involves developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction, as well as monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with experience in supervising and coordinating multiple teams
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, able to manage different locations and large volumes of product
• Operational expertise in inventory management, supply chain coordination, and resource allocation
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to foster positive customer experiences
• Proven track record in optimizing operational processes to drive efficiency and productivity
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills to monitor and interpret performance metrics to make informed decisions
• Availability to work onsite in the Canberra area
• Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in bakery operations, is highly beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred
