Projects and Construction Lawyer

About The Role We currently have an opportunity for a 1-4 year PQE Projects and Construction Lawyer to work as part of a high performing team that prides itself on providing quality, commercially focused legal advice. This is an exciting opportunity to work and learn directly from experienced and well-regarded practitioners including two partners, special counsel and senior associates as part of our established but growing practice Real Estate and Construction practice. We deliver on a range of matters for our government and private sector clients in the following areas including high profile and complex matters:

• Capital works and development projects across a broad range of delivery models
• Procurements of a wide range of consultants and contractors
• Capital works-related grants projects
• Contract and template development in the construction sector

About You Ideally you will have:

• Experience advising clients on various construction or works-related projects.
• Experience advising on procurements, ideally for government sector clients.
• Enthusiasm, a keenness to learn and a willingness to work on a range of matters, with an eye for detail, good communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated sound matter management.
• A security clearance. An existing security clearance or an ability to obtain one will be mandatory for this role.

Experience advising on property and real estate matters is not necessary for this role but would enable you to work on both sides of the practice. Why join Maddocks?
