Qualifications and requirements

• Completed Bachelor of Business or Commerce (Accounting).
• Studying CA/CPA (or close to completion)
• 2- 3+ years of experience in Australian Public Practice Accounting
• Experienced in servicing SME clients and high net worth individuals, and you’re a gun at preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts.
• Intermediate to advanced software skills in accounting packages (Xero preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• A driven professional ready to grow into a standout client-facing role
• Relationship-driven leader dedicated to building the capability and empowerment of colleagues.
• Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
• Direct management of client portfolio will be viewed favourably.

Role responsibilities

The role will allow you to showcase your skills, with client facing opportunities and the chance to be a part of our strategic business service offering.

• Technical responsibilities including the preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns, providing tax planning recommendations, identifying tax issues, and applying expertise in Div 7A, FBT, and CGT.
• Active involvement in strategic management accounting tools and advice to support our growing client base.
• Contributes to the development of Graduate Accountants through on-the-job coaching.
