Due to recent growth, we are seeking Support Workers who have experience supporting people with dementia, mental health, physical support needs and challenging behaviors. About The Role

  • In home care assisting and enabling participants with daily tasks. inc. meal preparation, personal care and administering medication.
  • Assisting with domestic duties around the home.
  • Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community.
  • Support and enable participants to achieve their goals.

About You

  • Minimum 1 plus years of experience in the disability sector.
  • Experience supporting clients dementia and mental health prefered
  • Experienced supporting clients with manual handling, hoist transfer is highly beneficial.
  • Valid CPR & First Aid certificates.
  • Experience across a range of disabilities.
  • Minimum Certificate III Disability or similar/higher.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Empathy for the issues facing people with a disability.
  • Strong belief in the principles of Person Centred Practices.
  • Highly organised and proactive.
  • NDIS workers check.
  • NSW Driver’s License (or similar) plus own car is desirable.
