About the Role
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the successful delivery of civil construction projects. You'll be responsible for assisting with on-site project activities, reviewing designs and specifications, and ensuring works are completed to quality and safety standards, and have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, collaborate with experienced project teams, and contribute to complex infrastructure projects.
What You Will Do:

Manage project delivery and execution on site to ensure projects exceed client expectations and meet McMahon’s contractual obligations.

Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering teams, and clients to proactively identify issues and provide optimal solutions.

Implement and maintain site processes, project schedules, and quality control procedures for continuous improvement.

Conduct site inspections, review project site reports, designs, and drawings, and provide detailed site diaries, progress updates, and technical guidance.
What You Will Bring:

Proven experience in civil project management and site supervision within the construction or infrastructure sector.

Strong understanding of Australian civil engineering standards, site safety requirements, and contractual obligations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage resources including plant, labor, and materials in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Ability to obtain defence clearance i.e., must be an Australian Citizen.

Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, oversee subcontractors, and provide technical leadership.

Experience with project scheduling and planning tools, as well as technical review of drawings and specifications.

Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
