Join Our Team as a Patient Administration Officer in Princess Alexandra Hospital.We are seeking a Patient Administration Officer to support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services within a hospital environment. In this role, you will provide frontline customer service to patients, visitors and staff while managing administrative processes that support patient care, appointments, records and hospital operations.About This Role Your new role: The Process This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future casual employment opportunities. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and should there be an employment opportunity you will be contacted to discuss the opportunity further. As a Patient Administration Officer, you will play an important role in supporting patient care by providing efficient administrative and customer service support within the hospital. Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional front counter, phone and email support to patients, visitors and staff
- Maintain accurate patient demographic and admission information within hospital systems
- Assist with patient interviews and completion of Patient Election Forms (PEF)
- Coordinate patient appointments, procedures, cancellations and waiting lists
About You You are a highly organised and customer-focused administrator who enjoys helping people and working as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Strong customer service experience, ideally in healthcare or administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and documentation
