Mental Health Clinician – Psychologist, Social Worker or Occupational TherapistJoin our dedicated Emergency Department Mental Health team at Princess Alexandra Hospital and make a real difference in the lives of people experiencing acute mental health concerns.Your New Role As a Mental Health Clinician (Psychologist, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist), you will play a vital role in delivering 24-hour acute mental health services within the Princess Alexandra Hospital Emergency Department. You will work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to consumers presenting with acute mental health concerns. Key Responsibilities Include

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, patient education, therapeutic interventions and contributing to discharge planning.
  • Working collaboratively within the interprofessional team to deliver patient-centred outcomes.
  • Providing education, support and supervision to students and less experienced staff.
  • Actively participating in quality improvement and service development initiatives.
