Mutual trust and respect are at the heart of everything we do. The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join our Adelaide office. Supporting a busy team you will display a willingness to learn and have experience in a fast-paced law practice group. You will be regarded as an integral member who will provide superior administrative support and a variety of ad-hoc duties. Responsibilities will include the following:
- Diary management;
- Scheduling appointments;
- Preparation and reconciliation of expenses;
- Client liaison and management;
- Opening and closing of files;
- Organising events & functions;
- Billing; and
- PA duties as required
Who We Are Looking For Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and diary management skills, with a client service focus. You will be proficient in Microsoft Suite and formatting, as well as good typing and dictation experience. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, display initiative, have good attention to detail and a proven history of meeting deadlines. You will be familiar and competent with general invoicing, accounting processes, the Court SA Portal and Court Forms. The core office hours are 8.30am to 5pm and the role is full time or 4 days a week.
