Moneytech is a rapidly growing, non-bank commercial lending business with a national presence. Moneytech provides a range of working capital products – Debtor Finance, Trade Finance and Term loans, as well as Equipment Finance.

The position partners closely with BDMs and National Sales Manager to guide customer conversations, information requests, and deal structuring. This is achieved through the effective use of financial spreading tools, credit analysis, and portfolio insights to support high-quality client engagement, identify risk early, and uncover prudent growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Manage all inbound sales enquiries, including receipt of original enquiry, necessary updates to CRM, pre-qualification of transaction and introduction to BDM based on location of client.
  • Liaising with clients and referral partners to collect information required to complete credit submissions.
  • Analyse and spread financial statements, including complex multi-entity and consolidated group structures.
  • Completion of credit submissions to validate the worthiness of providing finance to a borrower.
  • Complete financial (and other) analysis on new clients to assess viability for lending
  • Liaising with clients and referral partners, working closely with credit and facilitations team to manage applications to settlement.
  • Assist the Head of Sales and executive leadership team with project work as required.
  • Managing and inputting CRM data
  • Work closely with other teams across the business incl. legal, risk and settlements to achieve desired outcomes for the business.
  • Assist with the organization of marketing events in conjunction with the sales and marketing team.
  • Assist in registering new broker partners to Moneytech.
  • Manage implementation of software and other innovations to support the finance sales team, including Loan Origination Software, Pipeline Software and Lead Generation Software
  • Proactively review client lists and attend portfolio reviews with other business units with a view to identify cross-sale opportunities. Once the cross-sell opportunity is identified, the Analyst is to reach out to the client via the Relationship Manager or BDM, manage the proposal to the client and handle the new facility through to settlement.
  • Provide guidance, leadership and support to other Business Development Officers as required from time to time.

Responsible for:

  • Ensuring prompt turnaround when underwriting new business.
  • Participating in establishment of new clients and the right solution/service working within compliance framework.
  • Supporting our sales, credit, and settlement teams when analysing information required and facilitating settlement of new business.
  • Reviewing new client documentation to ensure that it is accurately prepared and executed.
  • Achieving target outcomes while professionally representing Moneytech
  • Developing full understanding of Moneytech’s product and service offerings
  • Working autonomously to achieve personal targets yet collaborate with all staff as required.
  • Ad hoc work as and when required.
  • Completed all regulatory and compliance training as required.
  • Have reported all incidents and breaches within required timeframes and to the required standard.
  • Adhered to all relevant Moneytech policies and procedures.
  • Complied with all Regulatory and Compliance obligations.
