We are interested in speaking with Associate level candidates with proven M&A experience and interest in the FIG sector for upcoming opportunities within our growing team. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, you will be expected to provide all-round transaction and client coverage support to senior and experienced professionals who will encourage you to go beyond the numbers and think creatively. Responsibilities Include

  • At Associate level, you will be driving the production of high quality, client-ready materials including external marketing materials, deal-related deliverables, and internal reporting documents
  • Performing financial modelling, strategic business analysis, and detailed industry research
  • Work closely with senior bankers in the FIG team, supporting execution of transactions and marketing of the Firm’s services
  • Your role will also involve providing mentorship and guidance to analysts on financial modelling, financial and industry analysis, and quality checking and taking ownership of work completed

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

  • 3+ years’ “hands on” investment banking experience in deal / transaction support at either a bulge bracket investment bank or boutique firm
  • Industry knowledge of (or a keen interest in) the FIG sector
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills (financial modelling)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong team player who can work effectively in a team environment
  • A positive, highly motivated individual who exhibits strong leadership and management qualities
  • Solid work ethic with demonstrated commitment to excellence, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
