The incredible opportunity:

We are seeking a Systems Engineer (Project Lead) to drive the development and manufacturing of our IoT platform. This role requires hands-on experience managing firmware and hardware development projects, ensuring seamless integration of embedded systems.

To be successful in this role, you will be based in Adelaide with our Engineering team.

What we’ll trust you with:

• Scoping and planning projects for both internal and external customers
• Leading firmware and hardware development from concept through to manufacturing, ensuring successful integration of embedded systems.
• Reporting on project status including schedule & budget
• Apply embedded systems engineering methodologies, including hardware-firmware integration, to guide projects from development to deployment.
• Contribute to the Myriota project management framework
• Continual process improvements

What we'd love to see in you:

• Proven experience leading firmware and hardware development projects.
• Strong background in embedded systems, electronics, and C/C++ firmware.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, PCB design, and debugging tools.
• Expertise in integrating sensors, wireless communication, and low-power IoT.
• Systems Engineering skills (Requirements, Architecture, Verification & Validation).
• Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and technical risks.
• Ability to conduct DFMEA/PFMEA for robust product design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
