Centre Director

Due to internal movement, our stunning Nido Early School in East Victoria Park is looking for an experienced and passionate Centre Director on a full-time permanent basis to lead our purpose-built, 92 place service, home to a vibrant community of dedicated educators, engaged families, and inspiring young learners. ABOUT THE SERVICE:

• Caters for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old across 6 rooms and 3 beautiful outdoor play areas, as well as two piazzas and one atelier.
• Incredible in-service support from a full time Service Administrator and full time Curriculum Leader.
• Outstanding long standing Area Manager to guide you through your career
• Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation.
• Opening hours - 6:30am-630pm - Monday-Friday
• Bus stop outside the service for easy commute to and from work

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience in managing a childcare service as a Centre Director or similar
• In depth understanding of the EYLF and NQS to ensure quality outcomes for the children
• Provide guidance, leadership, mentorship, and support to a diverse team of educators, culinary professionals, trainees, and students.
• You have a vision to support local families and their children by mentoring and leading your team to exceptional heights
• A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
• Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
