Do you want to be a part of a team that promotes and improves the health of its people and community?This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 12 months, with the possibility of extension(s).What is our Service Manager role? The State Forensic Mental Health Services (SFMHS) provides mental health services for individuals with mental illness associated with high-risk behaviours and who are typically involved in the criminal justice system. Our services are delivered across a variety of settings including inpatient beds, community, prisons, and courts. There has been substantial recent State Government investment in forensic mental health services, including the establishment of two new Child and Adolescent teams (one community based and one in Youth Detention) and significant additional services as part of the implementation of the Criminal Law Mental Impairment (CLMI) Act. Funding has been committed for a new adult sub-acute unit and a child and adolescent forensic mental health units, with further announcements expected. As a member of the SFMHS Leadership Team, the Service Manager in consultation with the State Forensic Co-Directors, is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, evaluating and reporting on designated service areas.
