Join Our Web Application Team at eHealth NSW Be part of a dynamic and purpose-driven team within the Enterprise Services directorate at eHealth NSW. The Web Application team is responsible for designing and delivering intuitive, web-based applications such as the VMoney suite and PMAP. We support key stakeholders including Visiting Medical Officers, HealthShare, Health Agencies, and HETI. Our focus is on building user-friendly solutions that deliver real value to our customers while upholding high standards of service and innovation. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated developer to join our team, initially contributing to the VCM Pro project. In this role, you’ll work closely with business analysts and designers to translate high-level requirements into technical specifications and build high-quality software components. You'll be responsible for coding, unit testing, configuration, and deployment while following Agile practices and development standards. - Develop and maintain robust web applications using Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RDBMS, and related technologies
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, iterative solutions
- Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team to solve problems and drive project outcomes
This role is internally referred to as Engineer – DevOps. About You We are looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated recent experience in developing robust web applications using Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RDBMS.
- Strong background in designing scalable RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery practices and a track record of working effectively in cross-functional, collaborative teams.
- Previous experience in the health industry or a strong understanding of healthcare systems and stakeholder needs is highly regarded.
