The Role Reporting to the State Manager, the Area Manager is responsible for leading the performance, culture and operational excellence of a portfolio of Reddy Express, OTR & S24 stores within a designated region. This role is pivotal in delivering the Reddy Express/OTR Guest promise while driving sustainable commercial results through strong leadership and execution. You Will Provide
- Leadership and coaching to Store Managers to deliver strong operational and financial outcomes
- Accountability for safety, compliance, food quality and brand standards across your area
- Execution of operational excellence initiatives aligned to OTR values and systems
- A strong Guest-first mindset, ensuring exceptional service and product quality
- Continuous improvement through identifying gaps, implementing solutions and lifting performance
- Effective performance management, succession planning and capability development
- Readiness and execution support for new store openings, conversions and network initiatives
- Financial discipline across labour productivity, cost control and budget delivery
- Collaboration with key stakeholders including Merchandise, Safety, People & Culture, Loss Prevention and Store Development

About You
- Proven experience leading multi-site retail or operational teams
- Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering against KPIs and budgets
- A hands-on leader who coaches, develops and holds teams accountable
- Demonstrated experience embedding operational standards and driving consistency
- Strong understanding of safety, compliance and risk management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to simplify and scale ways of working
