Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Governance Analyst to support the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide Data and AI Governance frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity to influence how data and AI are governed in a forward-thinking, data-driven organisation. Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and rollout of a Data & AI Governance Framework, aligned with industry best practices such as DMBOK.
  • Work with the Data Architect and enterprise leaders to define and operationalise governance policies for data and AI usage across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance data quality, metadata management, and stewardship practices.
  • Engage with internal experts in AI ethics, privacy, risk, and compliance to support safe and explainable AI deployment.
  • Assist in meeting regulatory, audit, and data risk reporting requirements through well-documented governance controls and reporting frameworks.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data management principles (e.g., DMBOK), and data lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with metadata management tools and implementing data quality standards.
  • Familiarity with AI governance concepts, including model risk, explainability, bias mitigation, and ethical AI principles.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business, data, technology, and compliance functions.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and documentation skills, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.
