DevSecOps Lead - Onsite in ACT

**Our Federal Government Client is seeking a DevSecOps Specialist /**Communications Engineering/Systems Engineer This is a long-term contract role for an initial 12 months with extension options located at our client’s Canberra office with full-time onsite work arrangements. ForDevSecOps SpecialistAs The Selected Candidate, You Will

• Contribute to a client's innovation project through scripting, automation, and orchestration for automated system builds
• Develop and maintain automation using tools like PowerShell, Ansible, GitLab, Terraform, Vault, and Secret Server
• Work with Microsoft and Linux OS, container workloads/Kubernetes, and VMware datacentre products
• Participate in the design and direction of DevSecOps patterns for client's datacentres and deployable LAN suites
• Develop system documentation for build automation tools and infrastructure

To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have

• Demonstrated experience with deployment and management of Windows & Linux operating systems
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere & vCenter
• Hands-on experience with enterprise database solutions such as SQL
• Proven skills in automation/orchestration using Ansible, PowerShell/PowerCLI, GitLab pipelines
• Experience working in internet-disconnected (air-gapped) environments
• Availability to be based in Canberra for the duration of the contract

For Communications Engineering Essential Criteria

• Minimum 10+ years experience in technical hands-on roles in design, build, testing and support of deployable ICT systems, networks and associated software.
• Experience working within a Systems Engineering framework to deliver project outcomes
• Relevant experience in planning, executing and reporting on formal test & evaluation activities
• Vocational, Academic or Industry qualifications in IT, Networking, software development, programming or computer science/engineering
• Strong communication and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to various technical and non-technical stakeholders and decision makers.
• Proven ability to work highly effectively within a team or autonomously with minimal direction or supervision
• Mission focus and team oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Strong time management skills in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrate a capability to understand message parsing and protocols, or an existing understanding, of TDL message standards.

For Systems Engineer/Modelling Specialist Essential Crietria

• Ability to undertake Model Based Systems Engineering within the CATIA modelling tool.
• Software Engineering/Computer Science degree or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Experience writing engineering documentation and reports.
• Ability to communicate using System Modelling Language to express engineering concepts and designs to military customers and non-software vendor representatives.
