About the Role: Our Federal Government Client, is seeking Senior SAP FICO Specialists. This is a long-term 12-month contract with two 12-month extension options, located at our client’s Canberra office with hybrid working arrangements. As The Selected Candidate, You Will

• Analyse business requirements and design SAP FICO solutions using standard SAP functionality.
• Deliver and implement SAP FICO solutions across the SDO SAP application landscape.
• Provide ongoing support for Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations and projects within the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud platform.
• Prepare detailed transactional information for internal and external auditors.
• Document system changes and develop Statements of Work as required.
• Provide guidance on technical feasibility and best practices in SAP FICO.
• Support production incidents, resolve FICO-related issues, and manage helpdesk tickets.
• Rigorously test system solutions using real-world business scenarios.
• Engage and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements and designs.

To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have

• A minimum of five years’ experience working with SAP FICO.
• Strong understanding of ECC6.0 FI module, including Public Sector Funds Management, Asset Management, Project Accounting, SRM, e-invoicing, VIM, and RCTIs.
• Experience in creating functional specifications for custom developments.
• Experience implementing and supporting Foreign Currency Payment Processing.
• Hands-on experience using and configuring SAP LSMW for uploads and processing.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Financial master data and financial tables.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

It Is Desirable If You Have

• Experience within the Australian Public Sector or similar organisations.
• Ability to write and maintain technical and functional documentation in SAP Solution Manager.
• Experience working within a multicultural or cross-functional SAP team environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
