Join us as Workshop Lead, where you will plan, coordinate and oversee workshop activities that support vessel maintenance, refit preparation, upgrades and modifications to vessels and their equipment. You’ll guide and support a small team of tradespeople providing coaching, training and technical expertise while actively participating in work activities and demonstrating trade excellence. - You’re trade qualified (preferably boilermaker/mechanical fitter) and bring hands-on supervisory experience ensuring workshop activities are planned, coordinated, and delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
- You have solid maintenance experience, an understanding of relevant materials and classifications, and an interest in expanding your knowledge of the maritime industry.
- You’re committed to safety and wellbeing—for your team, contractors, and visitors—by fostering a culture where safety always comes first.
- You’re skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving, providing technical expertise and guidance to keep operations running smoothly.
- You’re comfortable using computerised maintenance management systems (such as MEX or SAP) and capable navigating digital tools.
- You’ve strong attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep everything on track.
