About the Role
Principle Design is an award winning design studio and we’re looking for a driven Sales Business Development professional to join our team and play a key role in driving growth. This is a client-facing role with a strong emphasis on hunting new business, building relationships, and connecting with our ideal clients.
You’ll work closely with our CEO, Creative Director and Senior Account Manager and be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing leads, and creating lasting partnerships that align with our business goals. If you’re motivated by sales, thrive in fast-paced environments, and excel at making meaningful connections, this is the role for you.
In addition to the above, you’ll demonstrate a high level of initiative and autonomy in developing your leads, targets and respective proposals solidifying you as an integral team player.
Success criteria:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or Business Development Manager, ideally in digital design, branding or creative agency environment.
- Brings a hunter mindset with a passion for prospecting and converting new clients across key industries, C-suite, and enterprise accounts. A strategic thinker who can spot new business opportunities and act on them.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building ability with a focus on trust and credibility.
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
- Managing and nurturing your pipeline to consistently achieve (and exceed) sales targets.
- Proficient skills in Pipedrive, Pandadoc, Microsoft and Google Suite are ideal.

Qualifications
• 3+ years experience in a sales role in a creative office/studio.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Other Requirements
• No need for visa sponsorship
• 2+ years of Design Services experience
