In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining project integrity, managing baselines, and driving performance analytics across complex, long-term engineering and land/maritime initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Earned Value Management (EVM): Develop, maintain, and analyze EVM performance metrics, variances, and forecasts.
- Scheduling & Baselines: Establish and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Primavera P6 or Open Plan Professional (OPP).
- Cost & Financial Control: Monitor budget performance, perform cost-to-complete forecasts, and reconcile actual costs against baselines.
- Risk & Issue Management: Collaborate with Project Managers to identify financial, schedule, and resource risks, providing actionable mitigation strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare high-quality performance dashboards and financial status reports for internal leadership and key stakeholders.
- Security Clearance: Must hold an active Australian NV1 (Negative Vetting Level 1) clearance (or higher), or be eligible to obtain one.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Project Controller or Cost Schedule Controller within Defence, Aerospace, or heavy engineering environments.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in EVM, Primavera P6/OPP, and enterprise ERP systems (SAP/COBRA preferred).
- Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex schedule and cost data into clear strategic advice.
