Resource Planner and Scheduler 12 Month Contract As the Resource Coordinator/Scheduler, you will ensure project deliverables are appropriately resourced and delivered within expected timeframes by providing expert scheduling and resource coordination services in a modern, best-practice environment. What You Will Do:
- Ensure a consolidated and accurate view of resource allocation across the portfolio, identifying capacity gaps and underutilised resources.
- Develop forward-looking resource demand forecasts to anticipate emerging requirements and inform strategic sequencing decisions.
- Prepare and facilitate cross-stakeholder resource allocation forums to provide clear information on constraints and mitigation options.
- Coordinate the transition of resource requirements from business-as-usual into project delivery, ensuring all non-project dependencies are addressed.
- Align resource data with portfolio schedules and PMO standards to support effective governance, monitoring, and risk management.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
- Significant experience in planning, scheduling, and reporting within large-scale transformational change initiatives or complex programs.
- Proven ability to elicit information from business representatives and subject matter experts to build and maintain detailed schedules.
- Expert proficiency in the Microsoft suite, with advanced skills specifically in MS Project, Excel, and Visio.
- Strong consultation and facilitation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder groups and support business change decision-making.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the flexibility to operate effectively in a demanding and sensitive project environment.
