Production Planner

What We Are Looking ForAbout the Team As a Production Planner, you will be part of the planning team reporting into the Senior Production Planner located onsite near the production line. About The Role The Production Planner will support Operations Management in maintaining the relevant production schedules via creating and managing the relevant SAP production orders for all current product families and customer programs across electronics, optics and electro-mechanical assemblies. The Production Planner will collaborate with production, material management and configuration management to continually optimise the plan against manufacturing capacity, material availability and customer delivery dates, in conjunction with the PM Operations. The Production Planner will prepare, publish and present schedule and planning status reports to the production leadership team and will own daily production availability reporting per work centre. • Experience in a similar production planning role within a complex program or high-volume manufacturing environment;
• Practical hands-on approach with sound mechanical and technical aptitude;
• Advanced MS Office applications;
• Significant ERP experience;
• Experience with planning KPIs and status reporting; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
