Seeking mature, motivated professional ready to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities. Royalty Healthcare is looking for passionate and experienced Service Manager to lead service delivery across Brisbane Southside and Ipswich regions.
As a Service manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred service for our participants. You will manage and support a team of dedicated Support Workers, drive continuous improvement, and maintain strong relationships with participants, families and key stakeholders.
You will be a key link between our team and the people we support, leading with empathy, confidence and professionalism.
Duties include
- Promote positive participant outcomes, independence, and inclusions.
- Identify and manage risks, incidents and safeguarding issues.
- Maintain compliance with NDIS standards, Child Safe Standards and WHS protocols.
- Foster a supportive, values-based, and culturally safe work environment.
- Manage rosters, staff allocations, and service coverage.
- Coach, mentor, and train Support Workers to meet participant needs.
- Guide staff through performance reviews, inductions and ongoing development.
- Address feedback, concerns, and complaints from participants and staff.
Requirements
- Experience in the disability/NDIS sector and working with people with mental health issues and challenging behaviours.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, experience in a leadership or service coordination desirable.
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Excellent communication, leadership and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office and other administrative systems.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate understanding of participant rights and NDIS plan management.
- Capacity to travel across Brisbane Southside, Ipswich, and occasionally to the offices in Strathpine as required.
- Must have the right to work in Australia
Schedule:
- 8-hour workdays
- Monday to Friday
- On-Call duties that include out of office times.
