Plant Operator

About the Company

RTL are commencing annual recruitment for experienced multi-skilled Plant Operators, Rigid Dump Truck specialists and Service Cart Operators to work across our sites at Loy Yang, Yallourn, Groote Eylandt (NT) and other sites as required, on a casual basis.

The successful candidates will demonstrate:

• Verifiable experience.
• Ability to work within a team environment, as well as individually.
• Appropriate level of fitness to perform hands-on physical tasks when required.
• Adherence to mobile plant prestart and maintenance procedures.
• Mechanical empathy to always ensure efficient delivery of service for our clients.
• Ability to operate mining operations mobile applications – training may be provided.

Qualifications

RTL are looking for the following type of operators:

• Excavators (from 13 to 200 tonne, including GPS equipped)
• Bulldozers (LGP units as well as conventional dozers up to D11, including GPS equipped)
• Graders (12, 14 and 16 series CAT units’ series including GPS equipped)
• Water Trucks (Conventional and Articulated 6x6 Trucks)
• Articulated Dump Trucks 6x6
• Pad Foot/Smooth Drum Roller
• 825 Compactor
• CAT 785 and 777 Rigid trucks
• Service Trucks
