Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q) – Geelong West For over 70 years, Scope Aust has supported people with complex disabilities to empower them to live the life they choose, guided by the belief that everyone deserves to belong and thrive. About The RoleWe are recruiting a pool of casuals to support across the Geelong region in our SIL homes

• Provide warm, respectful, person-centred support that promotes dignity and independence
• Follow behaviour support strategies, routines, and safety procedures consistently
• Support participants with daily living, personal care, health routines, and community access
• Use calm communication and effective de-escalation to manage behaviours of concern
• Work confidently and independently while following structured support plans
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the wider team
• Bring patience, reliability, and a calm, supportive approach to every shift

What You'll Need

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overnight (active/sleepover).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
• Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Full Victorian driver’s licence
• Certificate IV in Disability desirable.
• Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable).
