Make an impact at Serco As our Training Officer at Adelaide Remand Centre, you’ll play an important role in building workforce capability and supporting operational readiness across the facility. Working closely with the Operational Training Manager and broader Learning & Development team, you’ll deliver engaging practical and theoretical training that helps our people feel confident, capable and compliant. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support training coordination and help create a positive learning culture where development is valued. This is a rewarding opportunity to support meaningful work that makes a difference every day. As a Training Officer in the Justice team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

• Delivering engaging operational and compliance training programs.
• Coordinating training activities across the employee lifecycle.
• Supporting staff capability through coaching, assessment and guidance.
• Maintaining training records, materials and compliance requirements.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to implement training plans and new programs.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of learning practices and courseware.

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
• Experience delivering training and assessment to large workforces.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a collaborative approach.
• Experience maintaining training materials and coordinating learning plans.
• Understanding of RTO standards and compliance requirements.
• Confidence using digital systems with strong attention to detail.
